I found it shocking in its lack of respect, civility and singular crudeness.
last night set the bar at such a low malicious level I was embarrassed. I don't practice a religion but was shocked at some of the juvenile crude comments. There was zero tolerance or respect for an another's dignity.
That's how I felt. Angry even. And just as I was hitting "send post" on my reply to the thread, the whole thing was deleted. Probably for the best. A little bit of rubbing and back forth banter is one thing, but that thread quickly took a whole different turn. Whether we agree with someones religious views or not, many people take those things to heart. And that whole fiasco was just wrong.

After work, I intend to wet down a Polish maiden and beat her with pussy willow branches.

This thought never occurred to me. Now it is all I can think about. I can only conclude it was in there all along. Thank You. :worship:

I am enjoying this thread much more than the Easter Incident. Even though it's not nearly as intense. But then again pipe smoking culture was never meant to be intense I suppose.

Some of the fun pushed it, and I take responsibility for my part in that (although the pilsbury dough boy meme was brilliant), but then it just got mean.

Quietly intense.
As far as some threads go, I don't see the point in mocking other peoples beliefs. And I mean ANY beliefs. In a world that is all to often far to cruel, anything that helps anyone get through the night is ok with me.
Just don't expect to see me happy if you ring my doorbell on a Saturday afternoon.

Vegas Baby!!!
I was drinking, but I'm a classy drunk and a rambling bum of a drunk. Some of the posts from my fellow members were just fucking over the line.... no excuses.

Maybe they were drinking?
Perhaps they aren't as smooth a guys like you and I when they are drinking. It's posibles apologies have been made privately.
Shit happens, people make mistakes and say things they wish they hadn't
Sometimes, the internet is just like real life.

@Mayfair- Look up "Dyngus Day". It's a ton of fun in it's original European form, as well as the places in the U.S. that celebrate it, like Buffalo and Cleveland.

Now wait just one minute!!!!!!!!
A thread turned into full-blown dumpster fire? And I wasn't even in it? That hardly seems likely. How could I, of all forum members, not be part of a dumpster fire?

Yeah, huge OLD population of Polish Americans in my town. Always drink and feast on Dyngus Day, just never heard the light S&M thing. Gonna check it out.

Had to be MSO. Dude hasn't posted in over 9 hours. That's gotta be a record. He's probably quivering in a corner somewhere, going through the sweats of withdrawal.

@jmatt- Well, no one's avatar has turned to "Unregistered", so I guess that means our body count is zero. Which, given the thread, is probably some sort of Easter miracle in and of itself.
