Very little gets archived there anymore. Just too much stuff, moving too fast. The last PM forums snapshot was on the 8th.
But I can tell you all about it. You missed something really, really awesome. We all got medals. The Shriner's loaned us cars. A rich uncle died, left me all his money and a porn star bought me a beer. It was awesome.

Never take brown blotter acid.
The effects are unpredictable. One random example:

You forgot the ticker tape parade down 5th Avenue and the gala at the Kennedy Center.
We're still negotiating rights with Ken Burns.

The only thing the two threads have in common is the infamy factor. In fact the word infamy applies more appropriately to the Easter Incident.

Starcat? Yes!! This last sorry disaster? No.
I was assuming that Woods was referring to Starcat. Porn stars, beer, 42, chili, porn stars, poetry, beer, Bambi Meets Godzilla, porn stars, beer, Frieda, beer, chili, haiku, beer, sandwiches, porn stars, etc. The usual.

Ah, I see...that would make more sense. But they seemed to be referring to utilizing the way-back machine in order to access the Easter Incident.
EDIT: and the way I read it, that's what Woods was referring to.

Infamy is an understatement. I'm glad it was quashed so fast in the end.
EDIT: But I was there!

The Easter Incident thread was chock full of the the day after a large dinner. It smelled too. Quite honestly, some of the things posted still smell.

I was there too. Not sure I enjoyed it as much as some others but I do agree that a train wreck is fascinating and hard to look away from. And leaves an impression on all involved.
