great scores there! Is the Castello from the early US imports before they started using the white bar logo? A couple of years ago, Castello made a short run with the original crystal logo to maintain custodianship of the TM. Yes, CC2014 will age nicely till 1932 for your daughter's 18th.

Les, I'm not sure what year the Castello was originally purchased, I do recall it was stamped with "kk", as I understand this is the grading for Searocks. I'll have to do more research on the white bar logo that you are referring to. Or you can clue me in here.
Ssjones, The GBD is stamped with "Virgin", that's all I can recall right now. I do like the way the GBD smokes, and it's very delightful to hold.

Congratulations, beautiful pipes. Yeh, last week, I just about bought a Castello searock Dublin. I walked out of the B&M with Skip hanging onto my wallet, dragging him out the door. I really wanted it, but I'm having to hang a little tighter to my wallet, till the Farmer's Market gets started up this year. Until, I start selling my harvest, no extra mullah.

Yeah, the whole time I was considering the purchase I was thinking to myself, "Self, you really want that Celius Fantasy that's on Ebay, this cash could be going towards that purchase". Honestly though, it was such a great deal that I could probably sell them, purchase the Celius and have a lot of boot leftover. Of course, I won't do that as my disorder prevents it! :mrgreen:

I was in Chicago this week, had a few hours to kill downtown and decided to stop in at Iwan Ries. This was my first time visiting the shop, and wasn't planning on getting anything other than a tin. My main point of going was just to check the place out, out of curiosity. I ended up buying a pipe, a half pound of And So To Bed, and a number of other odds and ends.
