Man, that makes miss the Pacific Northwest and all the mountain trails we used to getaway to.

This was my view today while enjoying a smoke and some down time. This is our gaggle of Pilgrim geese - we hatched and raised all but two of them.

Hey, this ain't a bad view either. Someday down the road, I think the wife and I will move to the midwest where things are cheaper and we can have some land and some animals like this. What state did you end up in?

I actually do have a recipe for my famous "500 degree potatoes"! Heat the oven up to 500, cut your potatoes into half circles, toss them in some oil, salt, and pepper (maybe a little paprika too), and bake those suckers for 20-30 minutes. Thems is some crispy sonsabitches!

I envy your perfect growing environment for potatoes. I have only been able to grow two varieties outside of sweet potatoes down here in Alabama.

BTW, the mod probably changed it to make it more location specific. Give the members a little more insight into what they will see when they click. My post about potatoes was in jest. I knew what the title meant.
