Besides Doblone d'Oro, what else do you like to smoke?
Do you smoke a lot of codger blends?
I have Noticed a lot of the codger blends are packaged really wet, hell I have a pouch of Captain Black that has been drying for 2 months and it's still wet.
Some tobacco's are definitely packaged with too much PG, and you are correct in saying that they take forever to dry.
However, there are a lot of blends out there that will dry, or are already dry when opened. Take for instance Bengal Slices, it's a nice dryly packaged tobacco, or Three Nuns will dry nicely, I'm pretty sure Doblone d'Oro will dry pretty readily too.
As stated earlier, don't do anything rash!

As a newly christened grandfather, I can now confirm that indeed things aren't made like they used to be just like grandpa always said. Also, movies and music were way better when I was growing up. And oh yea, kids these days don't know how good they got it.
Someone has obviously learned how to suck all the joy out of any room they enter.
