Time for a wild-ass guess, here...

It's a guy who lives in Kendal who knew Rachel in grade school, fell in love with her in high school, then refused to stop asking her out until one day she stiff-armed him in the Adam's apple to get the message across that she was NOT interested.

And his fee fees never recovered.

Naturally, his Mission in Life ever since has been to follow her around and annoy her every way he can think of.

Gawith is one of the last great houses. Happy to see Rachel reaching out, it can be tough to work hard and get grief from people. I am a big fan of the tradition Rachel, thanks.
