What’s a double Albert?

besides a dick piercing ?

Here is a pic of a double Albert on the left....on the right is a simple pocket watch chain which is a single piece and a hanging fob.

So your watch is on one side, and whatever else is on the other, could be a locket with your gals picture, or a family crest medallion, a snuff box, or a small pen knife like I was lucky enough to find, and with no engraved initials.
Most these items have long been melted for their gold value.
They were quite extravagant at times.
The center piece is a fob....the term was hijacked for our car remotes, however that is what a fob originally was.

The watch fob is the chain or ribbon attached to the pocket watch, at least according to Britannia.

Your most likely right, who am I to argue with Britannia!?

I think there are many variations, some out of necessity or perhaps tradition...I have never had one but it will be fun to play with.

I am certainly no expert, but am going to an event where I will be dressed in that semi period...

There is a style called a Hickock that clips on your belt loop too...so the watch goes into your pants pocket.

Thank you,
I got rid of my Tacoma because it was KILLING my back...couldn't drive more than a few minutes till I was in excruciating pain....I decided a car would be better...tried 'em all.
Never had a Dodge, but I saw her (yes I named her Phoebe) come off the truck carrier and she caught my eye.
Bottom line is that it's a seat made for a full size American male..and when I get in I can easily slip right into the seat, and exiting my feet swing out just right where I can stand straight up.
It has the up and down, in and out lumbar and heated and cooled seats...most comfortable ride I ever had.
For a person with a busted up back like me it works well...I wanted a Subaru, but couldn't gel with their seats either.

About the pipe, this will be my first Chacom...anyone have anything to say about it?

I cannot find too much on this model or series...

I do know she will be broken in with the plum pudding....to not do so would be an egregious offense..

My only Chacom is a reverse Calabash. It is very light and a great smoker. I do not know your specific Chacom pipe but I do not think your pipe or the Plum Pudding will disappoint. :sher:

I really really liked the reverse calabash just from a cool look aspect....and then researching what it's intention is...

After I become more experienced it may be on the list, but I believe the nuances would be lost on me at this point.

I have my grandfather’s gold pocket watch with apparently the double Albert chain with fob and knife. I never understood how the chain worked. Thanks for the pic.

Oh yeah, that's the good stuff.

I saw this on Amazon and once again, how could I not?
Seems like it was a 2015 run they did...

Is it true you can send this to Zippo directly and get a free pipe lighter innards replacement?
