My Secret Santa package arrived on Monday and I haven't slept in four days wondering what's inside that box. The voices in my head telling me to open it. Again, as usual the voices win.

My Secret Santa was very generous.

Savinelli Doblone d'Oro (June 2018) which is new to me.
G.L. Pease Stonehenge Flake (June 2017) which is also new to me.
St. Bruno Flake (Jan. 2016) which I only have a half jar left.
BJ Long Pipe Cleaners...always need pipe cleaners.

I've heard and read good things about these blends.

Thank you very much Secret Santa.

Good thing I waited. I thought I had the 2019 Cringle but it turns out it wasn’t here. I had a handful of small packages and assumed it was one of them. Nope.

Also I meant 2012-2016, not 2013.

The others are lonely.

Mailed mine this week and it should be there sometime next week...I hope. I also hope my victim likes what I sent him. You never know with those New Jersey types though.

Also, received mine. Smells pretty nice so I'll have to open it this weekend so my M-I-L doesn't start having a fit about tobacco smell again...

Hah! Yeah, she's been kind enough to lend us her basement apartment while we're in the USA. She just had a complete shit fit when I brought some tobacco in and she swore up and down she could smell it all over the house. It was mostly latakia and a tin or two was starting to leak a bit. When she complained, I took it to my storage unit. She still complained for two months after that it had ruined the smell of her house. What she didn't want to realize or acknowledge was that the forest fires in the next county might have been producing the smoky smell that pervaded the upstairs every time she opened the windows...it had to be the tobacco. Interesting fact, after the fires died down the smell was gone.

This must be how my parents feel when then occasional package of GH gets sent to their place and sits on the mantle piece for a week or so before I head over to pick it up

Greetings all! I have to start off with a confession. I suffer occasional bouts of depression. My ups arensuper up, and they are 80 to 90% of my time, but I do get some low lows. I know its depression because my life is a job away from perfect. Amazing wife, great kids, wonderful home, more toys than I deserve, etc.

So first off, I want to offer this: if any of you are feeling down or have the blues, you can always PM me and I will get ahold of you and just listen. I did 22 years in the army and you don't leave hurting folks alone, especially during the Holidays.

Second, because of my doldrums, I opened my box early... well I opened it Thursday, but was setting a large garage sale so am just now posting. OmG!! B.Fee is the most amazing person. I feel dirty for not getting a complete picture. He sent the following PLUS wonderful chocolates for the wife AND a nice card. I am in awe.

A very nice gesture. Asking for help doesn't mean you are less of a person or a failure. Very nice @wyfbane

wonderful chocolates for the wife

Ahh the secret to allowing more tobacco in the house.

I received a box this morning at my P.O. Box in NYC so I will investigate it carefully when it arrives in Florida on Tuesday. Hopefully my Secret Santa didn't avail himself to this service.....rotf
