I received a mystery package today. It appeared on my doorstep as if dropped by a stork (or perhaps a military drone), and had a hand-lettered address on it. Who writes anything by hand anymore? I had the dogs check it out, and they confirmed that it was safe to open, or, at the very least, that it had food in it.

Well, look at that. Secret Santa just keeps on giving. Three blends that I've been waiting to try, and two bags of Dove chocolates. My mother and I both love Dove, so the next time that I go down to see her, we'll sit and share some. She's 94 and revels in the fact that she can now eat whatever she damn well pleases.
TimT, thank you for your kind gifts. And my mother will say Thank you, too.

Dan, glad it finally arrived safely. The lovely handwriting for the address on the box was my wife's. She insisted we do it the old fashioned way for the post office at home. It turned out that they closed before I could mail it on the Saturday before New Years and I took it to the UPS store on my way to work the following Monday. It took a little while to get there.
Oh man, if I had only known you were going to have help opening the box, I definitely would have included some milk bones!

Tim, your thoughtfulness really made my day today. It was gray and dark here in SE PA today, and this little box made it much brighter. Thank you.
On a more serious note...

We still have two people who have not yet received their Secret Santa box, Javan and SmittyD. I have been in touch with both of their senders and hopefully the packages have now been mailed and are on their way.
I will continue to monitor the situation, and will not shed this ridiculous avatar until all Secret Santa boxes are home safely.

I hate that any members haven’t received their Santa packs.

SmittyD was my Santa, and I know he sent his great package even before Thanksgiving Day.

If his Santa doesn’t come through I can “maybe” find something worthwhile to smooth things over, and I know where to find him!

We currently have two people, Javan and SmittyD, who haven’t received their Secret Santa packages. Both situations are being remedied as we speak.

The road goes on forever, but the party never ends!

So first I would to acknowledge my original secret Santa. He was apparently deployed in the military, before he was able to mail out his package. I would to thank him and all of you here that are actively in the military or are a veteran. Thank you all for serving our country. That being said, I received a PM from Dan that a Super Secret Santa, had been set loose to take care of me.AND BOY DID THEY!All I can say is Wow!

Thanks for fixing that Dan. So as i was saying WOW! The Six Pence has 5 years on it. Plus there was a Dagnar Devil Anse nose warmer...Love that one. And from what info i could find online, that beautiful CFP looks to be well over 100 years old and has a amber stem. Thank you so much to Dan for making this all happen and to you Mr. Ashdigger...you are amazing sir. Thank you so much for your generosity!

All of the rest of the tins have 2 years or more of age. Also i have not tried any of them except the Golden Slice, which is one of my favorites. Thanks again to all involved.

How I Did It:

Once you are looking at your Album page (URL is http://pipesmagazine.com/members/your user name here/album):

1) Click on the image that you want.

2) When the image opens, right click on it and choose "Copy Image Location". That will copy the URL for the image.

3) Back on the forum thread, click the IMG tab. Paste the URL. Be sure that the "http://" isn't in there twice. Done.
Advanced technique:

The image URL looks like this:

http://pipesmagazine.com/wp-content/blogs.dir/1/files/album/17881/20190120_121434-600x450.jpg

Note the "-600x450" at the end of the URL. This resizes the image to 600 pixels wide.

Remove the "-600x450" from the URL, and your image will present full size.
