Last night, the masochist in me read through all (and re-read some) of the Secret Santa threads from 2015 to present to plan a strategy for my approach to gifts—it was interesting to see how the threads evolved (devolved?) from the efficient, almost perfunctory updates on gifts posted and received, to the wonderful, meandering hot mess of recent years. I’m excited to be a part of it this year and had no idea how true @mikethompson ’s statement of @ashdigger being a real life Santa Claus would be when I posted in last year’s thread shortly after I joined here. Hopefully, I'll be able to unearth enough info through the search function to create a fun and personal box for my recipient.
I am in just so I can vouch for this poor sucker. I hear his preferences include Captain Black Grape mixed with Pumpkin Spice, so if you send him one of each he can make his own favorite blend.
