Is that what a post office looks like stateside? Looks more like a Masonic centre to me
Here in the US, many of our post offices are also luxury resorts. American Citizens may stay there, for free, for up to two weeks a year. All meals included. The service is second to none, very courteous, very detail oriented, very punctual. The smaller offices may not have lodging accommodations, but most have a full bar and smoking lounge, also free of charge. There is also usually a doctor on call to write prescriptions, do minor surgery, stuff like that. In the winter, north of the 40th parallel, the USPS also delivers hot meals and "companionship" for older, single men.

God, I love this country.

You weren't supposed to tell him all that!

Mike, I like you. And your ketchup chips. Especially your ketchup chips. But you too. ;-)
I'm in the top 2, that's not bad!

Seriously, it looks pretty imposing. Canada Post outlets are basically a counter in a drug store.

Politicians are always trying to leverage to good-heartedness of the American people. This isn't Left or Right. It's just who we are as a nation.

You should see the Public Go-Kart tracks!
Reminds of the the annual 4th of July bbq's on the playground in the shooting range behind the fireworks store in the DMV.

I’m a little bit nostalgic for Christmas the way it used to be. Sweet children saving their allowance and money earned from babysitting and delivering newspapers (I’ll explain what those were in another post) to buy Dad a cased set of Dunhill DR pipes.

Crafty little buggers. The sooner Dad croaks out, the sooner they split up the estate.
