Placed my order for the tins I'll be sending today.

I just learned my box made it safely to its destination. This is one of the proudest moments of my entire life. I really gave my all.

I'm not going to open it yet........... We will put our Christmas tree up the first Sunday in December, it will be the first present under the tree. I'll TRY to hold out for Christmas day............. :mrgreen:

The only thing I worry about is receipt before Christmas. Davet and easterntraveller gave me heart palpitations last year. Also, I'm not giving or receiving this year, just bird-dogging. So your present is en route from another Santa without regard to your intended ship date. This frees me up to gap fill if someone can't come through on their commitment to send a present. Life happens.
This is probably also a great time to thank the forum White Knights... The Augustus McRae's and the Daddy Warbucks' of PipesMag. Every year a number of your fellow forum goers volunteer to send presents out to folks whose Santas bail or fall on hard times. They do this anonymously and freely. So to you gentlemen of the old school, I say thanks.

Got mine today. The upload page on Photobucket isn't working. But I got a Beautiful tin of Peterson's 3P's which I have never had. And 2 oz of PS Luxury Navy Flake as well as 2 oz of PS Luxury Twist Flake. Thanks to my Secret Santa this will be heartily enjoyed.
This arrived yesterday afternoon, I've been flat on my back for three days now (bad back) and finally managed to get up and take a picture.
A very generous present indeed, I must have been very good this year! I've never tried any of these and three of them were on my wish list. G&H Sweet Maple Twist, LJ Peretti No.8 Slice and Tashkent, War Horse Bar and War Horse Green. I was very much looking forward to trying War Horse Bar after reading,everyone's reviews. I can attest that it is a strong blend especially when combined with muscle relaxants. Thanks very much.

Thanks secret Santa! My package arrived on Saturday with tins of El Nino (a favorite), Rattray's Stirling Flake, Samuel Gawith Cabbie's Mixture (can't wait to try both of them) and a 2011 tin of Christmas Cheer (I really want to open that one now, but may hold off until spring). That was a very generous package, thanks again!
