I have a similar idea as you. I just purchased this 6X6 popup canopy from Amazon. Looking forward to use it and pimp it out with furnitures. I'm mainly concerned with mosquitoes so the mesh screen is a priority.I set this up a couple of years ago with a couple of chairs inside and a small propane heater. Worked great for cold nights, but was a little iffy in high winds. LOL Packed it away when the weather warmed up.

You're not crazy. Apparently personal smoking shed is a very popular thing for the cigar crowd. Plenty of Youtube videos showing off their setups. Here's one.See I'm not crazy then! You got any pictures?
The heating thing is gonna be important for a few months, at least. I would get some 3/4" styrofoam insolation and put it up and a small space heater. You could run it off of an extension cord for cost purposes. If you wanna make it look good, then cover the foam with basic paneling, hang some pictures of guns and hot women and you are in Nirvana..................I hate to sound negative , but piggy-backing on the last 2 posts : how are you going to heat it ?
Wisconsin is at least as cold as Iowa.............
Edit : Sorry , I missed your space heater reference .
You aren't crazy respecting the smoke shack.See I'm not crazy then! You got any pictures?
Dude, I did this for years. YEARS! Fond memories, really. I would start it up and get the heater going. It was essential while living in an apartment. For right now THIS is my smoking shed!

I have no need for any food cooking while I'm out there. I have however debated a small coffee pot to stay out there.Earlier this year I acquired a bit of land for growing fruit and veg, and with it came a very nice 8x8 shed. Not a smoking shed as such, but when I'm there after a few hours' work, I do like to sit in it, or on on its little verandah, just big enough to shelter two reclining chairs, and enjoy a peaceful, solitary smoke. The vendors left a calor gas two-burner-and-grill camping stove and a nearly full bottle of gas. It's a mile from my house so it not only is the stove handy for making a brew or cooking lunch, it warms the place up very quickly. For ventilation, the shed has a two-part stable door which can let air in and keep cold draughts out. You might want to consider something like that for heating... or if your heart is set on running and electric supply extension in there, how about an electric hotplate?
A mug warmer is always a nice little plug in.I have no need for any food cooking while I'm out there. I have however debated a small coffee pot to stay out there.
I never thought about naming it! Brilliant!Looks like a great idea! Are you going to name it? I like the Burley Bunker, Pegasus' Pad or Carter Hall 2.0.
Might be summer before you enjoy it with that attitudeThe shed was delivered today! So now I need warmer weather to set it up!
Looking at 40 degrees in a few days! Heatwave!Might be summer before you enjoy it with that attitude
