Nice! I'm in the middle of reorganizing my shed with the hopes of carving out a little smoking area to make myself a little more comfortable for smoke sessions in the winter, as well as rainy days in the warmer months. I'll be following along for your progress and ideas that come through this thread.

I'm doing something similar here shortly. My boss won't let me smoke in the house 😂 Have you considered using a small wood stove for heat?
I love heating with a wood fire. I heat my whole home with a wood-fired boiler. That said, our man would probably be best served with one of those small infrared space heaters. It would be more convenient and more cost-effective, if less romantically nostalgic. Sadly, we don’t usually have a Mrs. Hudson to keep a hearth banked for us.

Not trying to be contentious , but if you were growing , say , chives  , would it need a blower run ventilator ?
I have been told that, yes, growing _chives_ inside an insulated, reflective box with a 500W full-spectrum lamp puts off a lot of heat, and needs to be ventilated. I believe that modern LED based systems do not, but that's tech less than 10 years old.

I have a 4x6 smoke shake that was designed with the same set up you had in mind, @didimauw. I built in a bench at one end and had a dual exhaust fan installed in the wall. I didn’t put any insulation in it, just bare studs. It has a led tube light installed on one stud near where I sit. I don’t find the bench seat, even with cushions, that comfortable. I have two chairs and a small table in the shed with lots of room. I use an electric heater and have a re-heatable pad for sitting on. It all works quite well, except the exhaust fan freezes up and doesn’t work once it gets too cold.

See I'm not crazy then! You got any pictures?
