T here were several of the Holmes series I liked but got this one at a good price so, it was difficult to pass up-especially being new. I like the Original, as it's called, and the Rathbone so, those may be down the road.

I've always wondered, but mostly assumed, that this was the pipe for Moriarty in the lineup. Great looking shape. I myself already have my Holmes Series mapped out. I plan on saving up to get the Return of Sherlock Holmes Series for myself as a Christmas present and then I want to pick up the Original, Watson, and Baker Street from the first set and have a three pipe rack made for them. Great line of pipes by Peterson.

I liked the fact that it came with the fishtail instead of the P-lip. I have one P-lip and have nothing against it but I favor the FT instead. The Watson is another good one as is the Baskerville.

Now the wait. I hope to have it by Friday and of course it will be broken in by Autumn Evening...or MV-1000 with Virginia Red to quickly follow. This makes seven now so I have one for each day of the week.
