Title edited. Rule 9, please.

In my family, there are some people that have a gift. Well, maybe a gift, it is a sense of the paranormal, a connection between life or death, whatever you call it. I don't have anything like this, nor have I experienced anything worth telling, but my aunt is very keen on these types of things. Often having seen people, both from the past and unknowns in places they couldn't be. These types of things have always fascinated me immensely, like knowing when people died just from a weird sensation and such. I don't know how many else have had experiences like those, but it is always interesting asking about it. Have any of you had any weird sensations or "glitches in the matrix"?

I'm happy for you, if members of your family have it and can help other people. My only paranormal experience, was with my brother, we were on the roof of my house, fixing the TV antenna, my brother slipped and ended up in the backyard sitting on an old bicycle. He had a fall of about 8 meters, and the bicycle served to cushion him from a possible fatal fall. I was speechless, and my brother couldn't stop laughing with a fucking cigarette in his mouth. Sometimes we talk about its fall, my mother says it has more lives than a second hand coffee maker.

The sense of the presence of people who have gone before, in historical places or places with a long history, seems authentic to me. Despite a long history of charlatans and other commercial vendors of mysticism, there are authentic threads of thought in Transcendentalism and Spiritualism that have a basis in serious thought.

I've certainly had unusually vivid dreams of people who have passed on that feel more like visits than simply imprinted memories, but I'd be willing to concede perhaps they are amplified dreams, not under the control of a sentient presence of the departed.

The trouble is, this line of thought is like sugar water to hummingbirds of fraud. Beware of mind games ahead.

I think a lot of people have that sixth sense, whether perceived or real. I know that I’ve experienced unexplainable events, which gives me reason to believe that there is something more than what the other five known senses can detect. BTW, The Sixth Sense… it’s pretty good movie ??

Honestly I kind of have a bit of a reputation for attracting "bizarre" things.

Our now 23 year-old grandson displayed some interesting abilities when between the ages of 2 and 4. It's claimed that the paranormal comes more easily to very young children. Once we were driving along a street with him in the back and my wife and I got into a discussion about ghosts and he became quite animated chattering on about them. Our car came alongside the building that formerly housed my wife's shop that reputedly had a ghost. We had never mentioned this to him nor even been by the place with him before. As we pull alongside it at the stop sign, he points to it and says a ghost lives there. On another occasion I was doing my business in a back bathroom where he'd never been-age 2-and he walks in as they do at that age. The right faucet didn't work. He pointed to that faucet and announces that it didn't work. as I was on the john. He also displayed what appeared to be some minor precognitive and telepathic ability. Stopped displaying any of that by age 5.

Just started reading a book about Carl Jung, who also tried to explain the many examples of paranormality.
Sofar I am still not convinced but would appreciate to learn being able to predict the stock market some day, since I have now given up on alchemy.
