St. Patrick’s Day blessings to you!

March 17th marks a special holiday all over the world; St. Patrick's Day! It’s a day to celebrate togetherness, luck, gratitude, and Irish heritage with friends and family.

Since we're all friends here and "everyone's Irish on St. Paddy's Day" I thought it would be fun to share the different ways we are celebrating the day. What are you smoking? What are you eating? What are you drinking? What are you doing? Post your responses & pictures below!

I'll be smoking a couple of Peterson's I bought in Dublin, eating green eggs and sp bacon, and doing very little. Tobacco? Probably Penzance, as one could sail from there to Ireland. Glass of beer in Waterford crystal. Walking the dog, and being grateful I can do so today!

I don’t have any Peterson’s in my entire pipe collection but I do have a Charatan that has a stem that in certain light looks green. I haven’t gotten around to cleaning in in a long time. Maybe some Pembroke with lots of Glenfiddich, some corn beef and hash. I’ll also be listening to old Irish pub songs and be a little crabby. That should cover things.

I got a green Peterson for the occasion and I will be smoking a small bowl of Irish Flake. To drink will be a Glen Cairn of Buffalo Trace bourbon. I'm just not a fan of Irish whiskeys..

I plan to be smoking one of my Peterson St Patrick’s Day pipes (my flag pipe, if I can find it easily) with Peterson Old Dublin. Going to try to consume some corned beef and and a stout and/or Irish whiskey somewhere in the day.

I'm fighting a terrible cold, so there won't be any pipe involved in tomorrow's plans. Just basketball all day with some corned beef and cabbage for dinner.

Out of town for meetings. I did bring a Peterson and some Wilke Hearth of Galway. I’ll watch my beloved Hawkeyes with my oldest daughter, celebrate with a dram of Irish whiskey and take her out for dinner. Looking for a place I can get a nice boxty! Then enjoy a bowl in the wife’s vehicle (brought hers) as I make my way back to the hotel tomorrow evening.

My plans for The Day are: Currently at work and wearing The Green; on a very rainy morning. After work, I will start by smoking a Peterson 2018 SPD. B10 and then some Corned Beef and hash for supper. Then Smoking a Peterson 1998 SPD. 01, to finish the celebrations.

Polish man, me, but my wife is a good shot of Scotch Irish. We're celebrating with a couple cheap beers and local "underground" whiskey, as is the Irish tradition, and cooking an Irish specialty for dinner - Punjab Chhole.

After looking at the full moon with my youngest and getting him sent off for school, I kicked off my day with a plate of homemade cornbeef brisket w/ eggs & spinach, a big mug of Irish Coffee, and some EMP in a 2004 Peterson St. Patrick's Day 150 bulldog. Sláinte!

After looking at the full moon with my youngest and getting him sent off for school, I kicked off my day with a plate of homemade cornbeef brisket w/ eggs & spinach, a big mug of Irish Coffee, and some EMP in a 2004 Peterson St. Patrick's Day 150 bulldog. Sláinte!
