Just watched the trailer for the Hobbit, it won't be released until next december.Grrrr

The pipes were blazin' at Bilbos house. hehe

I saw the trailer today myself. I can't wait, but I really wish movie studios would stop releasing trailers this early. It makes the wait that much more unbearable, which I suspect is there intention.

I can't wait! I'll have to order more Middle Earth 'baccy before then - I know what I ordered isn't going to last an entire year. A re-re-re-read is in order for me as well. I wish I hadn't given away my copy of the Silmarillion!

That is sooo awesome! This is the first time I am glad about time going faster every day, so next December will be here quick.
It comes out the day after my birthday, so I will go see it to celebrate.

I first read The Hobbit while a college student and have been a big fan of Mr. Tolkien ever since. NPR did a dramatic reading of both The Hobbit and The Trilogy that is just wonderful. Consider asking Santa for them while you await the movie.
