Officially after midnight on the west coast. Work tommorow :roll: but looking forward to smoking some nice bowls. I'm thinking tommorow is a Plum Pudding day. What the heck is so great about Penzance? Haha not bad or anything and I've smoked 4 bowls now but definitely don't think it's worth calling stores or paying over the top prices for but as always in this hobby to each his/her own. ::

What are some good blends that do not have alot of nicotine to smoke after midnight? English Blends?(not too fond of aromatics as much anymore..except maybe the "Frog Morton Series" I have always been a night owl and I work at a job where I usually get out past midnight every night!! I am a new smoker and still getting used to packing a pipe and learning cadence speed, etc! ( I have been a cigar smoker for years Any tips/Suggestions for a beginner?? (it's 3:50 am right now

Three minutes after midnight in Alaska .....
briarbrother after midnight, before bed, I usually smoke an aromatic .... right now working on a bowl of SG Grousemoor ..... or perhaps a nice neutral VA/Burley such as McBaren Symphony .... not an issue with nicotine but room note and moustache note .... smoking a Lat bomb right before bed will warrant comments from the wife.

Make sure your baccy isn't too wet or too dry and don't try to shove a fistful of it in a small bowled pipe. Cadence will come in time.
