I just realized something.... I freak'in spent $300 on baccy today! Dang!!! Ok, I've gotten that out, so everything is OK now. At least I'll keep telling myself that. If my wife only knew about the $'s... (she probably does, but doesn't say anything). Love her to pieces, I do!

Well if you look at it in the sense alot of internet retailers are charging 50$ a bag for stonehaven and penzance, you actually made out pretty good for a B&M

yep, in comparison to the scoundrel scalpers, i feel pretty good. heck, there's enough there to keep me lit up for quite a while. i'm just a 1-2 bowl per day kind of guy. i'm still looking for 2 more bags of penzance. i'd like to give both my boys a bag each on the 4th. dunno if i'm going to be able to pull that off.

baccyfart, gotta do the work if you want the good stuff. I once had a guy call me and offer me 15 bags of Penzance. Since I don't smoke English blends, I called a buddy and he grabbed them. I could have bought them and then re sold them for a profit, but that is not how I roll.

you got that right! yes, i am finding good baccy here and there at the mom-and-pops. they are happy to have the sale. on the other hand, some of the chain stores act like they are doing you a favor by "letting you purchase" from them. ran into this a few days ago. guy had 2 tins of 1820 on the shelf. i asked if he had more, and he replied, "...not today." (translated, "...not for you!"). more than a little peeved, i asked again and looked him square in the eyes, and he just smiled. pompous ass! again, we've got the tobacco hobbyist trying to be the businessman. i haven't seen it work yet. that's the problem with some B&M's... they are shooting themselves in both feet! dumb-@sses! ok, i feel better now...
