Why do I get the feeling your last few TAD photos look eerily similar to hostage ransom demands/drug dealer brags?? 😂

Seriously tho, wow nice snags. I just lucked out and snatched 3 for myself after months... ole Kenny B comes thru again haha.
Along with a couple lbs of 507 Stoved and a few other misc. things on a recent SmokingPipes order (pics incoming)... well, I think I can just about officially say that marks the end of this recent panic spree for me.

Time to start clamping back down on the spending again. But at least I didn't get caught completely with my pants down this time around and now I have a cellar ready to carry me through the next couple few decades. I can't wait to see how we both age together haha. Cheers :)

Where are you guys ordering from that send a free gift????
One guy gets a free 49 cent lighter, and another gets a book of matches!!
Sinse my restarting my pipe smoking last Spring, I have spent around a grand at 2 etailers and haven't got a thing. :(
I remember back in the day where almost every order had something.....pipe cleaners, tobacco sample, lighter.......something!!
Here here... I spent thousands (yikes 😬) in this recent splurge and the only free thing I got was some pipe cleaners and a decent budget pouch from WV (great people).
But I spent so much money at the biggest names and I'd say half of them gave nothing extra and half actually shorted me on the transactions in different ways.

Idk if it's just me but I have to fight all day long (both professionally at work and personally as a consumer) for basic customer service and competence in other people's job duties.. It gets so exhausting fighting through robot phones and return labels etc.

Back 10 years ago, every seller sent something. Giving a couple ounces of your house blends will give you future sales. Some blends I'm buying today are blends an etailer sent as a free sample a decade ago. For sending a $3 sample, they may make hundreds through future purchases. Just seems like good business.
And it's a way for them to move some slow sellers.

Aah, I always order enough to get free shipping, and I’m mental..,
I’m the same damn way. Always want the free shipping even if I only want one item…. It’s a ploy to get us to buy more!

Cellar and cellar deep. Projecting the cellar out for the next 10 years down the road. When you like something that’s discontinued, get what ya can, cellar what you like, and hope the wife doesn’t get too mad.

When I started cellering decades ago, I told myself to store enough that I could never imagine smoking the last bowl in the house. Well, many years later, I'm pretty sure that's not possible. A few years ago I took inventory and found I had 60ish pounds of bulk, and over 100 tins. Many "out of production" blends. I've added many more pounds and tins sinse then.
Finally this year I've decided to get through some of these 25+ year old blends. I've never really thought about it and time flies. There are a few that will be tough to open.....GLP Ravens Wing (x2), GLP Bohemian Scandal (x1), Murray era Dunhill (x20).....
But, this year I'll either smoke them or sell them.

Added a little more to my stock today. G.L. Pease Chelsea Morning is a new one for me, as I continue to go wide trying out different blends. Old Dominion and Folded Flake are part of my feeble attempt to go deeper on blends that I already know I enjoy.
It's not feeble if it's what you can afford right now or it fits your current rotation!

No doubt, I'm happy with what I have so far, and enjoy trying new blends. I'm just not smoking enough (as weird as that sounds), so I'm not going too deep on many blends at the moment. The struggle is what to buy that's new to me versus what to stock up on that I already have.
