I haven't posted what I've bought in recent months out of sheer embarrassment, and now that STG is closing factories and possibly dropping blends, all bets are off.
Yeah. Gonna be a whirlwind of purchases.

I used to frequent LJ Peretti back in the late ‘90s when I was just a cigar smoker. I picked up the Thanksgiving Day cake along with a sampler of B-94, Blend No. 432 and Belmont. Excited to try these out!
Small TAD and new pipe today. Put my regular meer next to the new pipe for size comparison. Grabbed the Ropp while they were on sale, was only ≈$50. I also have an L.J. Peretti aromatic burley sampler on the way. I wanted the non-aromatic burley sampler, but seems out-of-stock at the moment. Also picked up those two foldable pipe stands, one plastic and one metal.
I've wanted a kind of cheap, all-day workhorse pipe for a while, and the small size makes it better for quick smokes. I really wanted something that would be army/spigot mount, but nothing came up that fit the bill. Sure, I could have gotten a workhorse for far less on eBay, but I didn't and don't feel like digging through mountains of garbage to try to findgold... silver... a scrap of copper.
This is my first pipe with a vulcanite stem and I have to say, I don't get the fuss—it seems just as hard in the teeth as my acrylic stems... the genetic meer stems seem softer (like the one all the carvers use you see on mine, is that acrylic or is it nylon, and if acrylic certainly a different formulation than what most briars use). And yeah, I get it's a smaller pipe, but I tried flexing it by hand compared to acrylic and the meer stems and tried just a soft bite onto it and it doesn't feel any different than acrylic.

No prob… was actually organizing part of my tin cellar today and snapped a few shots as well.
I missed last month’s C&D sale, and was glad to see it come back this week.
I’ve started running low on Pegasus, so I decided to remedy that situation: now I have to learn a bit about cellaring larger amounts than I have done in the past.
Thanks to the $10 sale on C&D tins, I picked out a few I’ve wanted to try. The MacB tins were also blends I’ve wanted to try. And the Reserve du Patron is because I have been enjoying Le Petit Robin, and want to try this cut. I’m looking forward to these!

Yeah, I remember liking it some after it spent ages...ageing, and following stoving so I plan to stove it again and see.
Made a stop at Boswell's yesterday. Picked up some G&H Black Cherry Twist, Brown Irish X, Best Brown No.2, and some MacB Vanilla Roll Cake. Man, I wish I had an unlimited budget! I love the G&H products!
