Here in the States, my tins may have no label like that. Or they say "WARNING: This product contains nicotine. Nicotine is an addictive chemical."

Come right out and be direct, like a German! Rauchen ist tödlich! puffy

Have you see the pics on tobacco labels in the UK before? if you think just the wording is bad enough, guess again…

Here’s a crazy one, a baby with a cigarette in the pacifier. Not sure if they still label like this.

Just tap/click on the Out of Stock pics to see them…

P.S. @gawithhoggarth do you still have to make labels like these for Europe? 🤔

Incoming:

2 tins of Scarecrow
1 tin of Squadron Leader (this one has been on my radar for quite some time, looking forward to giving it a test flight.)

Seems I missed this year's Yazoo Witch from The Country Squire. Drats!! Guess I'll just have to pull last year's up from the cellar.

I was "getting low" on pipe cleaners so clearly I had to go to Watch City Cigars, because I don't know where else I could find such things.... The two blends are new to me, and I had a bowl of WCC English Ernie-ental and it's a winner so far. MM General cob was an easy last minute add-on for about the price of a tin. Not a huge haul, but a great way to start the weekend!

The warning labels have images from any old source. There was a guy with an amputated leg caused by smoking, clearly.... but, it turned out, he was Albanian and when the communist government collapsed, people stole weapons from the armouries and he got a stray AK-47 bullet in the leg.

Likewise, some bloke on a ventilator and life support, who in fact was a celebrated Belgian gentleman who had been in a coma for umpteen years after some unconnected medical or accidental event.

Lots of images of gross pathological conditions with no history, also some popular images like one similar to Vermeer's "Girl With A Pearl Earring". They just take these and use them whether smoking is involved or not, without the subject's permission, because, you know, it's "for the cause".
