Could stand to be a bit longer.Still,wood matches are the best for lighting pipes and cigars.The heat is not too intense,and the flame is easy to manage and goes straight down into the tobacco.

Here in the PNW we are still able to purchase the top box, the Diamond Strike Anywhere Matches, at our local Kroger affiliate.
The box is just big enough to hold a roofing nail so it makes a nice little “go anywhere“ kit.

I too use Swan Vestas, when I can find them, otherwise a different manufacturer. I preferred the old "Made in the UK" manufacture, until they were bought by Swedish Match, I believe.

I'll admit to buying them and getting some pleasure from using Vestas. But it's only because I have a thing for Swedish matches.
