hate to tell you looks more like a pipe. Though when people try to play God it usually turns out worse. Nice pipe though..

here is tip on helping answer swan or not. Does the profile look like a swan? With the bowl being the shoulder area of the swans body and the stem the headless neck.

Thanks, I'm still a somewhat fledgling pipemaker. This one has not been smoked or sold yet.

What a beautiful example. Here is one of mine - a ~1920 rusticated French pipe with a horn stem. The bowl is about 2.5" tall. Not an LC shape, but definitely a swan neck.

Since Sasquatch has shown a couple of his, here's an 'LC' he made for me (top), with a giant Peterson below it which isn't a swan-neck, but it's as close as I've found on a Peterson. It's got a pretty good bend to it, but a thicker shank.

A Dublin Swan sounds a bit too close to a Glasgow Kiss to me!

It's real pretty & has that egg & spoon transition I associate with swan necks, not sure it's bent enough though...?

The top pipe is a top pipe. Great work, Sasquatch!
The ring blast is superb as is the shaping.

Here's a .ca 1920 French briar with amber stem, next to a Dunhill 120. Still working on the restoration - probably will be smoking an entire plug of Salty Dogs in it. Maybe only 1/2?
