Laird’s in NJ claims to be the oldest and first licensed distillery in the US. They supplied Applejack to Washington and the troops during the Revolutionary War. I belive it’s still owned by the same family, still making delicious Applejack in Jersey.

Yes, that's the stuff although according to Wiki:

Today, none of the company's production is located in New Jersey. It obtains all its apples from central Virginia and distills its products in North Garden, Virginia.[2] Distilling at its New Jersey facilities ceased in 1972 and Laird's only blends, ages and bottles its products in Scobeyville.[2]

Just watched a piece this morning on CBS Sunday morning. Lairds is still in business and making a variety of Applejack including 100 proof. A little further reading however, leads me to believe that the liquor now available is actually 65 % neutral spirit and 35% apple brandy.
