Probably nothing since I don’t watch football. Never could get into it.
Me either. I couldn't care about the half time show no matter who is involved. In fact if someone told me this year they're just going with human sacrifice I wouldn't be that surprised. The worst though are the ads. I have deep seated hate of advertisers and advertisements, and like any real hate it comes from the pit of my stomach and rationalizing works about as well as convincing someone pizza is bad, tastes bad, and they don't want it.

I'm not much of a football fan, but I have often watched the Super Bowl, and seen a few of the magnificent cliff hangers. My late wife watched one of them with me when the game was won by a player who reached across the goal line to touch the ground with the ball. She thought they were always that dramatic. As a widower, I had a big orange male cat who looked like a cougar who was a sort of fraternity brother to me; he liked to watch sports on TV, so I watched more than usual. He'd stay around until the trophies were presented and the speeches were over. If I watch this year, I'll be pulling for Cincinnati, with fond memories of the place, and smoking something like Barbary Coast and maybe sipping Makers Mark on the rocks. Or I won't. My wife might watch if they have the Budweiser Clydesdales, since she's from Missouri too. I won't watch the half-time show. The commercialism and overwrought fireworks and antsy over-hyped production with stars I do not know is all just too demoralizing. Time for a bathroom brake and a snack in a different room.

I will probably be eating a pizza from a local establishment and some chicken wings. Enjoying some Diet Dr. Pepper for a libation. I'm just praying for some good commercials like the old days. Kind of hard to be very original when you only have fifteen seconds.

I'm taking a short trip to Louisville so I'm not sure I'll catch even a minute of the game, but I can guarantee I'll be deep into a New Riff Single Barrel. Not available in the west yet.
It’s well worth seeking out. If you can find multiple single barrels pick them up. I live 10 minutes from the distillery and I love going there to drink a flight or two of different barrels. The differences can be remarkable! Good stuff!
