Long sad story. Unfortunately someone with enough knowledge to single out this pipe probably has the guile to sell it where it won't be spotted by the same "crowd," online or off. Or if it has disappeared onto his (her?) rack for smoking, it could be well disappeared. It's a shame to think of getting a retired security person to volunteer to work undercover at a pipe show. That would be the next move. Thievery is always with the human species. Missing parts in the moral compass, or crazy deep needs to make up for the emotional deprivations of childhood, or just the vanity of getting over on others. It sure dampens the happiness all around. When an exhibitor is guarded, keeps the high end pipes under glass, etc., it is always less inviting to look, but you know why they do it. One of the little luxuries of a Dr. Grabow ... steal that you silly f***er,

"Sorry to hear the bad news. What a scumbag. Good luck on the recovery." What a pisser....no excuse and I don't believe someone could just "accidentally" pick it up.

Bastard deserves to be shot! Wife always says pray for him...yeah, I pray he chokes on his own saliva.
