Don't tell me the Rangers are going to get swept? Johnson's hat trick last night makes the Great 8 look pretty foolish (I think he had 3 in 7 games!)

Yeah, that would be a trick!
Johnson gets a hat trick. The "Great 8" scored three against King Henry in seven games...you can't win that way.

No you can't but I am honestly happy a team is scoring. I can't stand 2-1 or 1-0 games. I'd rather watch soccer or golf.

What a finish to the game last night. Hossa (?) ties it up in the final seconds from a shot on the redline, how does that get thru???

Chicago could not be denied!

I didn't see the Ducks collapsing like that, but that says alot about the Blackhawks.
New York, could.
Washington beat Chicago at the Winter Classic, so I'll root for the Blackhawks and take pride knowing we beat the Cup winner.

Congrat's to the Blackhawks, this is the best celebration in pro sports. A grueling series for sure.

Bishop revealed he had a torn groin which is impressive but Tyler said he was playing with a broken wrist! Holy cow, that is tough. Winning the cup means staying healthy enough to be competitive, the Lightening just couldn't make it this year.

The 'Hawks were my first NHL love, back when teams were only in cities that could have natural ice. Since moving about a bit, I've rooted for the Bruins, Rangers and Sharks. Went to the Sharks first season as a pass holder, now can't be bothered. Just haven't developed the love for my local team that I did years ago with the originals.
But, congratulations, Chicago!

Now that my adrenalin has dissipated a bit, I have to say that the Ducks were "scary-tough",

and that Miami racked up a lot of minutes periods outplaying the Hawks; but hockey is a

game of bounces and good fortune. Kudos to both opponents for making the victory meaningful and sweet.
There's a lot of buzz locally suggesting that winning 3 cups in 6 years constitutes a dynasty.

Bur how can that compare to the runs the Canadiens and Oilers have had in the modern era?!

"...my kind of town, Chicago is ..." I grew up within walking distance of the corporate city limits where the Blackhawks were in the air (and on the air)
