Just got this estate Peterson 314.My first Peterson. It had some pretty bad rim charring but is decent other than that.
As you can see, if sanded down the rim to remove the worst of the charring. My question is: do I now just need to apply some leather dye to the exposed briar on the rim? Or should I sand the whole stummel down to match before dying the whole thing?
