Nice pipe. I don't know carver Emir, but this is a simplified version of a floral style originally made by Sevket Gezer and now made mostly by Tekin.

That's not "Emir" carved into the shank; it's "Emin", signifying that was carved by one of the Emin brothers, Medet or Imdat. Burak at Meerschaum Market can probably provide you with more information about them.

I just bought 1 and now have some concerns about handling it. From what I read they say do not handle the bowl for at least 10 bowls which is ok. Then the cleaning aspect, clean when cool which is normal but I smoke bowl after bowl when at home, so I want to just keep reloading and clean in the mornings. Then there was some info on which tobaccos. Need some advice on this please.

Daily or between bowls cleaning need not be more than a pipe cleaner down the stem and wiping out the chamber with a paper towel.

Of course you can use a pipe cleaner mid-bowl if you’re getting a lot of condensation.
