...so, I read this thread a few days ago and finally tried this moments ago and am having a fantastic smoke.

I have been really getting into Mac Baren Virginia No. 1 and found I couldn't get the stuff dry enough...my microwave seems to have mitigated this issue quite effectively.

Is this a bit of a game changer? For me, it may be...some blends just take too long to dry!

I have often, when purchasing a 14 oz can of Sir Walter Raleigh or Prince Albert..... on a sunny, low humidity day.... spread the entire contents of the can onto a large cookie sheet and placed it outside in the sun for a few hours. Worked beautifully... as long as no wind popped up during that time. ?

Where would that be? For many, inside is drier than outside, but I love the idea of sun, fresh air and drying a whole batch at once.
