A blast from the past. Glad you guys are enjoying the 633. I have a batch from 2002 that is a pepper bomb. I don't know if they put a lot more Perique in back then, but today it is one spicy a meat ball.

Harris, I agree with you that older 633 had more perique. I also notice that it hardly, if at all, diminishes with time.

I smoked PS LBF the other day, and lighted a bowl of Solani 633 from 2012 right after that. It has tasted better than ever.

I got a tin from 2013 at the NASPC show last year and just opened it last week.

I've gone through several fresh tins previously.. a few years really smooths it out I think. The tin note is fantastic.

Yes, I know this is an old thread, but it seems appropriate since I'm smoking some Solani 633 that is five years old. This blows my socks off. I love aged VaPers, but this is so good!!

That's good to know. All I've smoked is less than a year old but It's still one of my favorite and most heavily stocked blends.
