ZOMBIE THREAD!! This is DEF a favorite of mine. It's a top 10 tobacco. I can't imagine any va/per fans not loving 633.

I have gotten into this tobacco recently but only have the 50g tins. I recall someone saying something about the 100g Solani tins not being fully sealed and hence not suitable for ageing. Is this correct?

Styler: That is correct. The tobacco in the 100 grams tins are in a little bag, and is not vacuum sealed.

Gentlemen, How would you rate Rattrays Old Gowrie as far I'm informed is this light perique mixture and not too high in nicotine,referring to fact that this particular blend contains Kentucky dark fired

then we have that sweet and light ready Rubbed perique mixture made by German microblender HU tobacco, might be worth to try,

I still haven't opened my tin yet. I did pop open a tin of McClelland St. James Woods though that's pretty darn good. Once I finish this tin and a tin of Robert McConnell scottish flake I'll be popping my tin of 633.

You got that rite, 633 is some serious shit !! I'm getting heavy Perique up front...very little sweetness. Escudo is a pussy cat compared to 633.......I assumed this was a mild, sweet Virginia with Perique in the background. Definitely not what I'm getting. Although this is a fresh tin and maybe some jar time is needed smooth it out a little........

Very good indeed....Very spicy in the beginning but smoothing out mid bowl..very nice.

WOW... it's un-believable what a couple of days in a jar makes!! All the reviews ( good ones anyway ) I've read are accurate, creamy, sweetness, Perique not overdone is what I'm enjoying now. SVF + SSF are going to be at hand all the time !!

This is my favourite tobacco at the present and has been since I tried it in the summer. There is something about these Solani blends that I love. Really good stuff.
