Soap for some, but to me this beautiful smell reminds me of Turkish delight!
Olfactory memories. I think that our different backgrounds, heritage, culture, and experiences affects what we associate smells with. It’s neat that we all like different things, sometimes boggling. And, it gives us different things to think about.

This has always been the most interesting part about smoking a pipe to me. The olfactory senses are linked so closely to your memory, so smoking a pipe can feel just like going down memory lane!

I can definitely see how people can dislike Lakeland blends, most people don't want to stuff Granny's perfume in their pipe. It's funny that something as simple as being gifted a new candy as a kid can lead to having an affinity for heavily perfumed tobacco.

Nothing Lakeland about Sixpence. It's a Virginia/Perique blend with Kentucky Dark Fired and a ginger topping. Stonehenge is Pease's Lakeland collaboration.?
My bad, I wasn't trying to imply it was. Just saying it seemed there was some ambiguity about what it was flavored with. I've heard some say alcohol? I guess the best thing to do is try a tin!
