Very true.

Shoveled 10 inches this AM. Had 6 earlier in the week and pulled a little muscle in my back. It's better now but it sure was sore for a few days.

Take it easy shoveling snow if your not used to it lol
Seriously. People around here always say they'd never live in CA cause they have earthquakes and how can people live somewhere like that. When the fact is way more people die or go to the emergency room with serious issues because of the winter. Slip and falls and the big one people not pacing themselves with snow shoveling. Either injuries or cardiovascular issues. Know your limits.

Some snow storms what we first responders called "Widow Makers," It appears Texas and other environs will have a run on caskets or snowblowers, I doubt many kids hire out these days. Me? I use a Deere to move snow.

Me? I use my children. I have five. I go in and start pointing “...you, you, you and you! Thank you for ‘volunteering’ for snow removal duty. Out you go! Make your dad proud!”
