Being SPC, they'll probably move as well.Cornell & Diehl's YT channel is still live
Just a guess from my end but it could be an allocation of resources on SP's part. The SP video library is huge whereas the C&D is pretty small.See, I get that SmokingPipes.com is being pre-emptive in their measures, and that's just smart business. And yet ...
Cornell & Diehl's YT channel is still live (https://www.youtube.com/@cornelldiehlinc9213), and they just posted a new one about The Beast.
Muttonchop Piper is still available (though nothing new in 7 years).
Mac Baren Tobacco Company still has their channel (but nothing new in 2 years).
Is it accurate to say that none of these can monetize?
Anyway, the inconsistency doesn't make sense.
This discussion notwithstanding, this forum tends to look down on the typical YTPC content so I'm guessing the answers you'll get here will be indifferent at best.I thought about starting a new thread titled, "Is youtube a problem for the smoking community" but it seems as though the discussion here has turned that direction. Should we be supporting other avenues (vimeo, rumble) and also pushing our favorite content creators to release their content on those alternative platforms? I was looking at rumble today and it's a wasteland in terms of pipe content... but it appears other areas of interest are really taking off.
You mean pay to view videos?I went to set up a vimeo account and didn't realize you have to pay for even viewing it. I don't know if that will attract many eyes.
yes... i think it's the alternative to viewing ads. unless, i'm not setting up an account correctly. You mean pay to view videos?
Yeah, I can view that.I don't have an account and can still watch them.
yes, you're right... it must have been trying to get me to sign up for a creator account and i didn't realize it.I don't have an account and can still watch them.
