My smoking jacket is just the older of two fleece Columbia jackets that I own. It's got a few minor burn marks and the zipper pull broke off years ago, but it's still serviceable as a jacket. The newer Columbia jacket stays clean and smoke-free for the rest of the world. puffy

I'm surprised that someone capable of heating things by electron emission needs a jacket at all, never mind two of them.

Just in case you will be traveling to London over the Christmas holiday, and wish to be fitted for a bespoke smoking jacket for yourself (or purchase for a loved one), this link will show you the facade of Turnbull & Asser's Jermyn Street store and its address.

Me for one. Whenever I enter someone's house I notice the pervading smell/reek. My own house in fact if I've been away for a while. Stale smoke and cat dander are readily noticeable for me as I'm a smoker and have a bit of an allergy to cats. Nothing more stimulating for me than the reek of fresh baked chocolate chip cookies or, probably the most welcoming odor of all, fresh baked bread. Everybody's home has a distinctive odor/reek. Probably mostly unnoticeable to the residents. Well, at least to this old, retired cop's nose. I was always searching out distinctive odors such as drugs, burned skin, gun shot residue in the air, I tried to note and identify any odors I ran into. Most probably do not do that but, all notice odors that are pleasing or offensive.

Indoors it's whatever I'm wearing. Outside I could do with some sort of pouch or belt bag to carry smoking essentials rather than a specific jacket, especially when riding my motorcycle. Still looking for the right solution.
