Bless her and after she had done such a noble job.I’m truly sorry for your loss. I feel your pain. When I got back from my last Afghanistan deployment (between Iraq and Afghanistan there were six of them), my wife decided that I needed a puppy to babysit me at home while I was trying to find a civilian job. For 3 months that dog and I sat on the couch while watching Dr Phil and eating cheese sticks. I named her Valkyrie for the reason that she really kind of saved me from a dark place at the time kinda like the mythological creature. She barely made it to her 2nd birthday, started having seizures and died in my car on the way to the pet ER on a Sunday.......there will never be another one like her.
