Significantly 2nd Amendment Ruling By Supreme Court

Supreme Court ruled today that New York could not apply special standards to concealed carry for law abiding citizens. I'm not an attorney and don't follow a lot of rulings but seems to me this is a big 2nd Amendment win for gun activists. I also don't know but would assume this should open the door for concealed carry in other states such as Illinois and California.

From my limited understanding, this would apply to all states. That said, the mayor of NYC said he would ignore the ruling. So much for being a nation of laws.

Yeah, this is pretty political. I can get politics anywhere so I don’t come here for it. If you’re smoking a pipe in 2022 chances are that you are not mainstream in other ways thus you’re likelier more interesting than ordinary people so I like it when we talk about non-politics stuff-it’s always so much more interesting. Not sure how law and the constitution are political. If this type of subjecf is disagreeable for you, why would you bother opening the thread other than an attempt to impose your will on others? I'd like to believe I'm mature and intelligent enough to be able to have a peaceful discussion about the Constitution. There are also numerous threads I never open because the subject holds no interest for me. Seems much more sensible than torturing myself,
