I am going to second the opinion of it's really nice having a place where people don't keep dropping their half assed opinions on politics that mostly amount to half formed and fully borrowed opinions that state little more then what kind of talking asshat sounds most authoritative to them. The ones that sound like this sure convince me, well you're dumb cause obviously the ones that look and sound like this are clearly more right. Or in other words there are so many darn places where people can spill their brain bile about, no need to stink up this place.

If I let a fart in an air tight room, you couldn't smell it unless you opened the door and came into the room. For the life of me, I can't figure out why people click on a thread that has subject material they don't wish to read or discuss. If everybody told you a restaurant was horrible, would you go there yourself to have a meal and then bitch about it?

That's a very deflective point and extremely dismissive. And instead of admitting you know that you violated the rules of the forum (which we all do from time to time), it's the fault of the people who have the gull to read a post on a public forum. Also doesn't matter if those peoples comments are about keeping a certain neutrality about one of the few good forums on the internet. O.k. fine but that argument falls completely flat and I won't pretend otherwise.

You're welcome to your opinion and in general, I enjoy reading your posts. I didn't intend to violate the rules, I thought many members would be excited about the ruling.

Yes....... we are.............
I don't see the political slant...........
I see it as a positive move for America........... Talking about the Constitution shouldn't be labeled as "Political"............ don't be a pussy here, just stand up for what you believe in........

I agree with you except for the part about being a pussy that is. LOL. I really like this forum and error on the side of avoiding conflict. If you knew me in real life, you'd know I'm very blunt and don't work very hard to avoid confrontation.

I try to stay away from those people in a real life...instead of skipping a page they start to be oversensitive victims digging in a theme and feeling to be a heroes doing it..they feel offended by about anything...usually weak people with week ego which feel they acomplished something if they can destroy or report something they do not enjoy to deal with .

Oh I don't believe either of you. You see that this is a political and potential volatile issue. You can claim what ever you want but neither of you are ignorant idiots.

6. Political Posts Not Allowed

We want to keep it friendly and fun around here. Political threads make it nearly impossible to maintain that type of atmosphere, so they are forbidden ... (unless they have to do with tobacco policies and legislation).

Political: adjective
1 a : of or relating to government, a government, or the conduct of government
b : of, relating to, or concerned with the making as distinguished from the administration of governmental policy

Source: www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/political

Of course many of us don't tend to agree with dictionary definitions here.

The Constitution itself is the result of some long and arduous political debate. It is, in and of itself, a political statement/contract. It is the very essence of politics by definition. The art or, science of government.
Watch out. That kind of talk gets one into trouble here...it even gets you labels if you care about that sort of thing. :ROFLMAO:

Is that how you win at golf? ;)
Funny you should mention that. I had a lesson yesterday and suffered through a horrible day today. Not totally unexpected as I try to sync a few seeing changes. My playing partners complimented me on my demeanor and not displaying a single fit of anger. I was pretty proud of myself as there was a time in my life when I would have vented my frustration numerous times. I've married to the point that I realize how blessed I am to have the freedom and ability to play golf 4 or 5 times a week and do so with a number of really nice people.

I do have a very strong personify and it would be rude and stupid of me to intimidate those folks in any manner and ruin their day because of my lack of emotional control. I've also learned one of the best things I can do for my golf game is give myself permissible to make bad shots, miss putts and even have a bad performance now and then. Despite having a horrible golf day, I still was able to enjoy the camaraderie with the other players. To reverse that, I enjoyed today more than I would have breaking par but playing with 3 assholes.
