I can't carry a bottle of whiskey out of a liquor store here in Texas without putting it in a bag. Politicians are awesome; if only we had a bigger government and more laws, things would be even better.
its like that where i live. the government decided that about 3 or 4 years ago that if you couldnt see the smokes, you wouldnt buy them :roll:. its frustrating as a smoker because not every store carries the same brands so you have to ask what they have. some clerks arent bad but some are pains about it. the next bright idea was to ban single cigars and cigarillos beacuse the kids were buying them. its just a great big waste of time as far as im concerned.

How does this affect tobacconists? As long as they're under the restricted square-footage they're good to go? Are stores allowed to have any indication that they carry tobacco at all?

This may be a moot point here but this is so silly! Prohibition didnt work. The prohibition on drugs isnt working.

It's the same here in Canada. My local B&M has to keep all of his pipes and tobacco in a separate room behind a curtain and has to keep all of the Nat Shermans, Dunhills, Gitanes and such behind a curtain. Such a crock of shit. I really wish we could just start holding individuals accountable for their own decisions and actions and stop trying to police the world. One of these days I will be spotted heading into the woods with a fishing pole, rifle and a bucket of tools and will never be heard from again...I get closer and closer every day.
We should exchange numbers so that if either of us goes first we can let the other know where we are going. I really have given it very serious thought as far as planning what to take, where to go, how to make money...etc. My girlfriend thinks I am nuts. I told her that she should get ready for that life or to part ways because when the time comes I am seriously gone.

I can build, I can farm, I can hunt, I can fish, I can forage for all sort of wild edibles, I can cook, I can make wine, beer and whisky and I am slowly learning natural medicine. See these are the sort of statements that make my woman shoot me those sideways glances.
At the age of twenty i was given a uniform and a heavy machinegun. I spent many a day over the next fifteen years shooting at who ever was a threat to my country. I stood next to people being shot, and have shot people before they explode. I have been scared but stayed at my post, and walked in front of a patrol expecting to trip something nasty. All this was done for my country.
