Arrived yesterday. Exactly what I was looking for. Medium sized straight billiard. Excellent condition 205 euro shipped.
Terrific draw and taste.

That looks so much like a Dunhill pot I had that I lost years ago.

I sold my birth-year (1961) 120 Shell and found this 1961 Shape 56 Shell. I love smaller bent billiards, so this one fit fits in well with my collection. It is not as graceful as the 120, but at 35 grams, it will get used more often. And the blast is outstanding.

Here a rare and older Dunhill N 104 pipe.


It must be from the earlier '70s and has been used well but with much care eversince. So much that it has been repaired by Dunhill later on...




Without the usual year suffix because of the factory repair I think.



But it's still a wonderful pipe for use nowadays.

Follow up @ above. It is an interesting repair I think because the bowl and shank must have been separated/ broken and later fixed before the text was stamped, looking at the thin line between the N and H and through the 2nd L.



I am glad they did that, it is a fine smoking pipe.

Oké. It was the stem made me think of several pipes I have/had that were made in St. Claude, France.

Another two estate dunhills arrived today. Group 2 and 4. So now I have three smooth straight billiard dunhills, group 2,3,4.
I sold the castello to finance the two dunhills. I couldn't justify owning such a pricey pipe so I got two for the same price. Besides the castello was too fancy and formal for my taste and style. I love the simplicity of the dunhills.
