Here's a pipe with a cumberland stem I made a few years ago. It's a good smoker but I don't think its because of the stem. The briar is from Michael Parks.

I've Just got the one, my Bing. I know it doesn't show a lot of the stem, but this pic shows how the stem brings out the red in pipe. Love it!
