The belge looks very like a couple of early Charatans of a similar shaping that I've seen.

Without access to an early Charatan catalogue (if there are any) I’m more than happy to defer to your opinion and Ken’s
Some years back, Ken asked me to help him with identifying the Frederick Charatan maker's mark and to see what I could find in the way of early Charatans. In my digging around I got do see a few really early pieces and a couple looked like kissing cousins to yours. It's a guess, but a slightly educated one.
Bought this little guy on eBay for $20 bucks. One of my favorite pipes. Only says "Italy" on the bottom of the stem. This one and a meerschaum are my go to pipes.
I love it bobomatic!! In all the years and all the pipes I have smoked, the stamp on the shank never had any effect on ‘the smoke’ for any one of them.
You got that right. I bought it basically on how it looked, with that gentle slope of the stem. I was fortunate it turned out to be a wonderful smoker.I love it bobomatic!! This sharp pipe came with an older estate lot, some pre & circa WW2. Stamped, ‘Crowned Sovereign’ and ‘Italy.’ I can’t find a reference for it, though it calls ‘1940s Rossi’ to me, they were traditionally stamped that. A restoration in process, the pyrography on this briar is cool. Any reference or opinion would be much appreciated.
Ok, here's an oddball pipe I've had for at least 10 years. Strange shape for sure, and the only stamping is "Made In London England". I've been told that was a Sasieni shape from the late 80s with the reintroduction of the Four Dot as the 4 Dot. If so, it must be a second or reject, I really have no idea...
Pipe from a basket, literally, sitting on Manning's Newsroom countertop in downtown Syracuse, New York, circa 1978. Think it was 16 buckarinos, U.S. I've smoked hell out of it over the years. From my cold, dead hands.
I just unwrapped a Suffolk the seller had stained nearly black. The stem is a modern acrylic replacement by the looks of it.
My, this unknown maker pipe was well carved, well constructed, and is a great smoker as a bonus.
Wally Frank or Lane likely contracted to have these made. It looks “Weberish” to me, like a Shellbrooke.

Once an old Algerian pipe has ever seasoned and colored, you can easily take steel wool and restore them to brown, using alcohol and steel wool, sonetimes just a paper towel.
But just one smoke and many times they’ll recolor.
Wow, does this Suffolk look like Weber Shellbrooke in Golden Walnut grade. There was a lot of skilled work to carve all those panels.
But any of a number of makers did these. The band is original because of the overstrike of the k of Suffolk and the r of Briar.

I recently purchased a lot in estate sale and have a handful of either unmarked or can not find origin of marking pictured are four that I am searching currently. The one of which I believe falls into the zeppelin family of pipes and is the sole reason for my purchase as I had never seen anything like it. The only markings are imported briar made in Italy. Any help in identifying would be greatly appreciated.
We only know who finished the pipe: Eltang and his colleague.
It was the master block for the straight apple billiard shape used by W. Ø. Larsen‘s catalogue.
Years later, it was finished and sold on Danish Pipe Shop.
We don’t know who made it as a master block. Who knows how many straight apple billiards were based of it in the factory.

I bought this pipe recently on eBay from an English seller.
Hallmarks are Dublin 1897-1898. Stamp is worn and I can’t decipher it.

THAT my good sir is a MacPhersons Wonderful Dream Pipe in smooth walnut, available around 1952 or 54 ish. As proof I shat you not: Pipe Lore by mr Wally Frank.
They come generic and Wally branded. His are a little heavier and thicker, caps better centered and Wallyz are all wood, the generics will have a metal connection threadset = hot, beware. 
Heres a few other zep horn and tube styles. Most are from the 20s or 50s, top #2 Safe-Tee; #3 Pinehurst Bakelite; #4 generic Wally and bottom row 1~4 MasterCraft/Cigar Pipe - Sparkless 1950's; 5/6 L'Atlantide, french by GOC St Claude 1924; 7/8 Zeppelin/DRGM, German 1920s and the cigar box group are the more rare, some from 1860-1900 any questions, ask. Theyre all I do. Peace
Thank you for the quick response and information, there is not very much in the googleverse on that pipe. I will be on the look out for more pipes of this design very intriguing.
