Savinelli Bacco 321 rusticated bent author. This is my new English/Balkan pipe, to be christened with EMP this weekend (unless I jump the gun, which is entirely possible). Loved this one from the moment I saw it, and it checked all the boxes: it's super light, takes a balsa filter (6mm), and as you can see, the presentation is second to none. Thanks to Savinelli for making great pipes, and thanks to SP.com for being such a consistently top-notch retailer all around! I even threw in an ounce of Lane BCA, lest my other Sav, a Tortuga 614 bent billiard, feel left out.

Happy smokes all!

Nice @Servant King .

Those 320/Authors are growing on me, how are they to light with a Bic lighter?
Or would it suit matches better?
Is it a thumb burner the further you smoke down the chamber?

Anyways, I had the below waiting for me during my lunch break, I'll try and take more photo's later and with hopefully more sunlight ?

Fantasia 111KS Smooth.

I don't mind the rusticated version but it just wasn't the right rustication for me, you know? I'm pretty fussy with that.

The lighting does the stem no justice here..

I'm waiting until the weekend for the maiden smoke, so not sure yet. I only use a bic, so I'll certainly take note of how it handles that.

A 601 Churchwarden of mine.
I should mention that I was mildly dissatisfied with the quality of the workmanship.

A small piece of the carbonation dislodged almost immediately so I had a cavern to patch.

The stem was so loose, when holding the stem, the bowl actually freely rotated. Smoking didn’t tighten one bit it so when smoking it ran a constant risk of twisting the bowl at an odd angle. Q tip with water did not help one bit, so I had to use nail polish and it did a fine job.

But it’s a great smoker. I dedicated her to Latakia tobacco blends.
