This arrived in the post today & I realised it was the second pipe I've bought almost entirely because of how much I liked the profile:

One reason I always liked Rob Cooper’s EBay auctions (coopersark) was that he would always include a profile pic of the pipe in hand. It made sense to me because once you got the pipe, lit it up, and then looked down, that’s exactly what you would see. Here’s one of mine, not from Rob though.

I love it. In hand it's even tinier than I thought, it's sort of fragile & organic.

In terms of crazy profiles, I think this is the nuttiest I've seen (but not one I bought):

I bought this Cellini Original just because of it's profile. It's not a big name in pipes, but I love the graceful looks of it, and it smokes wonderfully too!

Yeah, they're all together in that shot. All three are pretty big.

Three 1/8 bent, oval shank Brandies from Jesse Jones. The tan blast was my first commissioned pipe. We started designing it when he was still at Smoker's Haven, and he made it right after opening Blue Room Briars.

Got this Fireside made in Denmark, still think it looks great, but doesn't get used like I thought it would. I prefer something a bit more substantial in size. Probably headed for resale 1 of these days.
