This reminds me to get a new, old pen knife from the antiques shop - the last one is in some farmers field in the Dales.

Maybe a lambs foot? ?

I know kind a gross. But that is what I use for plugs. Works pretty well actually.

@jpberg I used to have an antique - possibly Victorian - faux mother of pearl handled example which was lovely but, sadly, it got abandoned somewhere in the Dales by one uncarefull owner.

It’s nice to know that we still make some things, all be it on a greatly reduced scale compared to 50 years ago.
