+1 ghost, $10 ... I feel a zero was left off. Who sells an old piece of furniture for $10 that isn't in pieces?

This is my pipe station having been moved down the office and closer to a window. You will note this is my 'seven day I am stuck at the damned office rotation' which makes NJ very doable!

This is my desk with some dragon art, my wife's rose and a "bouquet" of pipes.

And this is below my bookcase with some pipes which have silver and brass trim.

Can't Leave
Nope, no zero's left off - I tell you no lie, the cabinet was a $10 ebay sale, pick up only, and was in rough shape when we picked it up.
I can also tell you that the wood refinishing kit I bought cost 3 times more than the cabinet itself ($30)!!! I took it to my mother's house and refinished it in the garage before it made its debut in my apt.
The cabinet is equipped with custom made racks by my friends at Two Cousins.
You noticed the "Bums" book but buried on top also are Vol.'s I & II of the Pipe Smokers Ephemeris!

I am new at this game and still sorting things out with what my wife calls my Man “Cupboard”. I wanted to start with a rotation of Savinelli 305’s but to slow the break in of my briars until I picked my favorite tobacco varieties I grabbed some Cobs. It seems I enjoy them too much to just stuff in shoebox so I just bought the small Two Cousins rack as well.

This is me. I don't have a lot of pipes, just started a few months ago so here is the 5 pipes BigBen rack with my pipes.

However, I have also a Vauen "The Shire" Churchwarden that I made a rack for that I really like (and that I am kinda proud of too), though I now need the sister...

Here's my latest attempt/experiment. I'm trying out ideas I've stolen from various other forum-featured pipe racks: sideways orientation, leaning pipes, divider style separators. I'm going for stability here after knocking a nice Canadian out of a Decatur style rack (hole at the top for the stem and routed oval at the bottom for the bowl) and breaking the tenon.

There's nothing pretty about this one. It's just recycled oak (mostly old flooring). I haven't even varnished it yet. Heck, the glue isn't even all dry yet. If the idea aids stability, I'll incorporate the ideas into large cabinet I'm planning.

Nice rack fishfly. Keep us posted on how it works out. The top "notches" are a nice touch. I've got some extra lumbar laying around. I figure better to build if I cannot find the right piece at the right price to re-purpose.

Are there any companies that make custom hardwood pipe cabinets? Made to accept around 30 group/size 6 pipes plus shelving for regular rotation tobacco jars/tins & accessories?
