Ser Jacopo makes some wonderful pipes. Ive admired them since they started showing up at the B&M’s in the early 1980’s. A poster here @RobNYC has one of the nicest Ser Jacopo panels I've ever seen.

Ok...gotta stop buying pipes. But Ive been looking at this one for a while. I think Im done! (for now) . Its nice for clenching. Not too big. It also accepts a 9mm fliter which for me is a good thing.

This Ser Jacopo is reputed to be the first Rowlette that the company produced. As a prototype it isn't stamped with the name of the finish.

Yes! SP had one with the drip wax but someone beat me to it.

It's rare I see a Ser Jacopo I love, but this one called to me. It's an early one (red dot stem), and it's pretty ghosted with Latakia. It's also surprisingly heavy, but it hangs nicely enough that it's not a problem.

I'm going to load it up with a freshly opened tin of Murray's 965 (a kind gift from a forum member).
